This FAQ contains all the information about the Monad project.

Monad is a new cryptocurrency network project in development, offering an extremely scalable infrastructure compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).

It is anticipated that this layer 1 solution can compete in terms of transaction speed with the Solana network, having already reached the milestone of 10,000 real transactions per second during its own tests.

Currently, the Monad ecosystem does not have its own token, but this could change in the coming months.

Recently, the project's managing team concluded a funding round of $225 million, led by Paradigm.
